Digital Forensics Challenge hosted by Korea Institute of Information Security & Cryptology (KIISC) aims to expand knowledge of digital forensics and contribute to the field.

RULES

The challenge has two main categories: a Digital Forensics Challenge and a Tech Contest.
Participants can take part in one or both competitions.

QUALIFICATION

– Anyone interested in Digital Forensics.
– Participants can register individually or as a team.
– The maximum number of team members is six.

PARTICIPATION

– Participants can use any tool (No Limitation)
– You can write answer-sheet in English or Korean
– Sharing answers or codes is not permitted.

PRIZES

Digital Forensics Challenge

For Korean team,
– The winner will receive ₩10,000,000 cash prize.
– The top two will receive ₩5,000,000 cash prize.
– The top three will receive ₩2,000,000 cash prize.
For foreigners’ team,
– The winner will receive ₩3,000,000 cash prize.
– The top two will receive ₩1,500,000 cash prize.


Tech Contest

For Korean team,
– The winner will receive ₩5,000,000 cash prize.
– The top two will receive ₩2,000,000 cash prize.
For foreigners’ team,
– The winner will receive ₩2,000,000 cash prize.


Note,

The foreigners’ teams will receive roundtrip airfare for 2 persons. 
The winning team must give a presentation at the DFRF workshop.
